Please Note:  Our seminars this year will be on Saturday, March 12. Our show has been fortunate to have expert speakers on a variety of koi hobby topics. 

Saturday All Day - There is a $10 fee for the Saturday Seminars.

2022 Seminar Schedule

9-9:45am Parinaz Bristol, Bristol Koi Farm – Parinaz will demonstrate techniques for water lilies and water garden plants.

10-10:45am Margy McManus – “Koi - A Senior Moment” - Margy will share stories of her special koi, her ups and downs of koi keeping andher many friendships through her love of koi.

11-11:45am Mat McCann, Beni Hanna Nishikigoi – Mat will discussselecting young koi from a breeder’s perspective, as well as an updateon his many projects.

1-1:45pm Steve Zimmerman – “How to Grow Large Koi” – Stevewill discuss his koi collection, pond parameters and feeding regimen.

2-2:45pm Mary Andrews – “Dr. Suess Knew A Little About Koi” -Mary will share her Nishikigoi journey from koi keeping in Michigan to personally selecting koi in Japan.

3-3:45pm Katie Van Lennep – “A Tale of Two Ponds” – Katie will discuss changes in pond construction in the 10 years between her 201 pond and her 2021 pond. Russell Peters will discuss her filtration,water circulation, and pond construction.

Pre-register for the seminars to reserve your seat as attendance is limited to the room capacity. Send a check to Henry Culpepper made out to CFKS and write on the check memo at the bottom that it is for the Seminars Saturday.

You may also sign up for the seminars on site by stopping in at the Registration Room off the Atrium. Seating is limited.
