Show Judges

Koi - We are honored to host the American Koi Judges Association (AKJA) annual meeting and training seminar. For more information about AKJA and to see judge bios please visit the AKJA website.

Instead of one Head Judge, there to be teams with each having a Head Judge. After they have judged each size, their nominations of two or three koi are given to the 3 committee members to review and the winner is selected by all the judges at that point. Therefore we have 3 Head Judges. At the 2026 CFKS. They will be Troy A. Head (Committee Chair), Michelle Gravenish (Committee Member) and Jason Guevara (Mentor Director). Jason will be taking the place of David Young (Committee Member).

Goldfish - Tony Reynolds is the goldfish judge.

Tony was a founding member of the American Goldfish Association and active member of the former sanctioning body, the Goldfish Society of America, serving as its chairman twice.  Tony serves as a Board Member at large for the Goldfish Council.  Tony has been raising and showing goldfish since 1980 and judging goldfish shows for more than 35 years.  Tony is experienced in many facets of goldfish keeping, care and breeding.
